Job Summary

This position will support the admissions and recruitment processes of mainly non-traditional students to ensure efficient enrollment, with a focus on both customer service and
administrative responsibilities. This role will relay the admissions requirements, programs offered, and the enrollment process via in-person, phone, email, or virtual platforms.

Job Duties:

• Recruit, register, and enroll non-traditional students to include guiding individuals through the application process and next steps.
• Teach GEN100 in the area high schools or its equivalent.
• Support the development of recruitment campaigns, to include scheduling events, coordinating logistics, and managing outreach efforts to prospective students.
• Attend community events held by community partners.
• Call and email with applicants daily to help them through the enrollment process.
• Work closely with other members of the recruitment and admissions team to align recruitment strategies with the institution's enrollment goals.
• Aid potential and current students by answering questions regarding programs and the requirements of each.
• Professional development training.
• Other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor degree
Driver's License
 

Additional Skills Requested:

Strong written and verbal communication for presenting information to prospective students and partners (internal and external).
Public speaking abilities for high school visits, college fairs, and information sessions.
Active listening skills to understand student needs and concerns.
