Housekeeper

Housekeeper – Full-Time 

Location: Recovery Centers of America – 314 Grove Neck Road, Earleville, MD 
Pay: $17.00 per hour 
Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM 

Recovery Centers of America (RCA) is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at our Earleville, MD location. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients and staff. 

Position Overview 

The Housekeeper performs cleaning duties to ensure patient rooms, common areas, and hallways are clean and orderly. This includes making beds, replenishing linens, vacuuming, and general upkeep of the facility. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Make beds and change linens in patient rooms. 

• Performing various cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing for individual patient rooms and bathrooms, common areas and bathrooms, office spaces, meeting rooms, dining facilities, windows, etc. in all buildings on facility property. 

• Cleaning designated areas with proper chemicals, tools, and equipment. Emptying all trash cans indoors and outdoors. 

• Remake beds after room changes and patient discharges. 

• Take daily inventory and inspect cleaning equipment for repair or replacement. 

• Perform additional cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned. 

Qualifications 

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. 

• Two years of cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred. 

• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards. 

• Reliability and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

**A former patient may not be hired at the same location where they were treated until a minimum of one year has elapsed since the completion of their treatment at that location.
