What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):
- Enrolled in a practicum course at an accredited MA, MS, MSW program.
- Valid California Driver's License.
How you will make a difference (job overview):
Under direct supervision by the Clinical Supervisor, this position has primary responsibility for providing mental health services and case management services to children or adolescents and their families referred to Community Services. Services may include engagement, assessment, evaluation, individual/family/group therapy, and case management. The position acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff. In addition, the position documents and bills for mental health and case management services and completes outcomes information.
Division/Program Overview:
- School based outpatient program.
- Provide services at designated school sites and in the community year-round.
- Services offered: Individual, family and group therapy, parent support groups, case management, collaboration with school staff.
- Serve youth ages 5-18.
- Services offered are trauma informed and culturally responsive.
