We are looking for individuals who demonstrate a strong sense of accountability and courageous leadership as they drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance both efficiency and safety protocols.</p><p></p><p>In this role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring customer satisfaction by optimizing unit performance and challenging the status quo. Your expertise in financial acumen will play a crucial role in maximizing profitability while maintaining high standards of quality.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills and technical expertise to earn the respect and trust of the operations team.</li><li>Enhance and effectively apply knowledge of plant operations and technology by analyzing historical data, consulting with technical experts, and leveraging resources such as the Tech Center or SMEs.</li><li>Ensure the effective utilization of Most Effective Technology (MET) and leverage process automation to optimize plant performance, continually challenging and escalating MET application and assumptions to pursue better solutions.</li><li>Partner with experts to conduct advanced troubleshooting and improve operating discipline, meticulously diagnosing and documenting root causes of asset utilization losses.</li><li>Maintain a strong field presence to reinforce the importance of specific procedure steps and precautions, ensuring understanding and adherence among the team.</li><li>Conduct daily reviews of the logbook and alarm history to gain insights into plant operations, remaining actively engaged with daily activities.</li><li>Maintain, own, and review daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and trends to ensure optimum performance, while also running small projects aimed at enhancing 5S, productivity, and quality.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in process or mechanical engineering, or packaging technology.</li><li>Fresh graduate or up to two years of relevant working experience.</li><li>Fluency in English and working proficiency in German.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>Preferred skills</p><ul><li>Experience in an industrial environment, such as internships or working student roles.</li><li>Theoretical understanding of automation processes.</li><li>Basic knowledge in SAP and MS Office.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to take ownership and show proactive engagement.</li><li>Positive outlook and strong communication skills.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Benefits – What Dow offers you </p><p>We invest in you. </p><p>Dow invests in total rewards programs to help you manage all aspects of you: your pay, your health, your life, your future, and your career.  You bring your background, talent and perspective to work every day.
