This is a 1099 position.
Work Environment:
Work environments vary by industry and establishment size; some inspectors examine similar products for an entire shift, others examine a variety of items.
Must be able to stand, bend, and lift at least 30 lbs. for the entire duration of your shift.
Must be able to stand on feet during entire shift
Workers in heavy-manufacturing plants may be exposed to the noise and grime of machinery.
LOCATION: Greer, SC
Shifts:
A Shift: 6:45 am to 5:25 pm Monday-Friday with possible weekend work $24.00 per hour
B Shift: 7:40 pm to 6:30 am Sunday-Friday $26.00 per hour
Paid Bi-weekly. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FULL SHIFT!
Requirements
Quality Control Inspectors typically do the following:
Must be able to rework parts
Read blueprints and specifications
Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards
Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
Operate electronic inspection equipment and software
Accept or reject finished items
Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
Report inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected
Requirements
2-4 years experience in automotive manufacturing facilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Quality control analysis
Active listening/ability to follow instructions
Detail Oriented/Monitoring skills
Problem solving/Troubleshooting skills
Judgment and decision making
Comfortable receiving ongoing performance feedback and coaching
Comfortable with ongoing change and learning new technology/processes
Has a dependable team-player attitude with an understanding that as the demand change your work hours may vary
Visually able to determine color, shape, and size of a part
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to stand for up to 10 hours plus
Have a positive attitude
Education & Experience Required:
2-4 years experience in the automotive industry
High School Diploma
Quality Control experience would be a plus preferred
