JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Penn State Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing at Penn State Altoona, Division of Business, Health, Humanities, & Social Sciences invites applications for a part-time one-semester teaching appointment in the undergraduate program for clinical, simulation laboratory and/or classroom instruction in Nursing, with a Fall 2026 starting date.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Candidates should be qualified to teach undergraduate clinical courses in nursing (MSN required and experience in the area needed for instruction).
  • Master’s degree required for clinical instruction
  • Doctoral degree required for classroom instruction

Preference will be given to applicants who submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and transcripts (official transcripts required before appointment), and contact information for three professional references. Final selection will be based on excellence in scholastic achievement, a review of the candidate’s curriculum vitae, and a successful interview. Failure to submit all the required materials may lead to the candidate not being considered.
