What You Will Do:
To accomplish its mission, our client requires senior‑level analytical, legal program support, and project management services requiring independent judgment, specialized knowledge of DOJ grant programs and legal authorities, and the ability to plan, execute, and evaluate complex assignments with minimal oversight. In this role, Team GH will assist the Office of General Counsel in deliverables associated with the grant making lifecycle specifically providing advanced analytical, legal support, and program management functions that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the clients' legal operations and compliance with applicable legal requirements, to include:
FOIA Program Management and Legal Analysis
FOIA Systems Design, File Management, and Tracking
E Discovery and Technical Search Expertise
Project Management and Analytical Support
What You Will Need:
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoJ "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
Bachelor's degree
THREE (3) or more years’ relevant consulting, paralegal, and/or related experience in the Federal Government including knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), DOJ grant program statutes and policies, federal ethics requirements, litigation related processes, and DOJ information management systems.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience supporting Federal grants management processes and procedures
Highly proficient in (preferred previous professional use of) Microsoft suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent Documentation Skills
Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Extremely detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and with others, including strong relationship-building skills
