About the Team

The Last Mile team works on fulfilling customer demand for everything in the store and making it available in the comfort of their home. We want our customers to have every option available to shop for their needs: wherever, whenever, and however they want it. As one of the biggest players, Walmart trusts our associates to innovate the future of shopping.

As a Staff Product Manager in the Last Mile Delivery team, you'll be responsible for setting up the new drivers for success on the Spark Driver Platform.

In this role you will…

  • Set a vision and strategy for your products using domain knowledge, market analysis, and customer insights.
  • Develop and enhance product roadmaps, create requirement documents, analyze user and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, and drive execution.
  • Define and analyze success metrics with your analytics partners, iterate on your products and features, and deliver on desired customer and business outcomes.
  • Build collaborative relationships with key partners to align on priorities and gain buy-in from the executive leadership.

  • You are a seasoned product owner who can run products end-to-end independently, while collaborating effectively with business, engineering, analytics, UX design/research, and other stakeholders.
  • You are obsessed with the customer -- you work backwards from wants and needs towards simple solutions; quantify value to consumers, partners, and internal stakeholders; and use research and data to improve features and processes.
  • You are excited about solving very complex challenges on a large scale and can create structure amidst ambiguity.
  • You are comfortable influencing others, communicating clearly, leading teams, getting buy-in from leadership, and managing stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
  • You are scrappy but do not sacrifice on quality – you have a test-and-learn mentality and an agile way of working cross-functionally and collaboratively to improve your team’s products.

  • Experience writing clear and concise product requirements that is easily understood by stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to advocate for customer experience improvements.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and can navigate through large stakeholder groups.
  • Confident, succinct and ability to influence stakeholders and partner teams without having a direct authority.
