Business Operations & Strategy is a cross-functional team working across the whole company – including both strategy and operations. The team is a partner to the senior leadership at Coinbase focusing on high-impact strategic projects and data analyses. This opening will specifically support our Product team. 

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

• Support the Ireland Country Director to proactively ensure efficient execution of strategy across all functional stakeholders 
• Facilitate the effective coordination and performance of the Management Team, ensuring all team members are aligned and executing to the Country Director's vision and strategy
•  Facilitate and drive the leadership to look forward proactively and adjust strategic planning to a) maintain regulatory compliance and b) grow commercially
• Act as a communication Liaison, serve as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, helping to streamline communication between the Country Director and various stakeholders
• Play a key role in supporting major regulatory/policy efforts, and subsequently ensuring that Coinbase operates in full compliance with applicable local regulatory requirements
• Structure and present complex and ambiguous strategic problems to enable  Coinbase leadership team decision making and resolution across our International Business
• Oversee special projects or initiatives that are critical to the business strategy in close partnership with the Country Director and leadership team
• Develop a deep understanding of our peer and competitor positioning as well as the emerging crypto landscape to inform your recommendations
• Define clear hypotheses to identify new opportunities & peer/competitor analysis, and build business cases and quantitative models that will inform and influence our strategy
• Provide analytical support though the use of data and insights to define changes, design experiments, inform decision making and implement those changes across our products
• Contribute to improve our capabilities by enhancing existing processes and recruiting and developing new team members

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

• BA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a business-strategy role (Management consulting, Hedge Fund, Banking, Operations at a start-up, etc.)
