Join Learning Grove, a leading nonprofit early childhood education provider serving Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky for over 40 years, as an Early Childhood Education Teacher. In our beautifully designed, high-quality classrooms, you will be a catalyst for young learners' development—from ages 6 weeks to 6 years—by planning and implementing engaging, research-based lesson plans. Using the Constructivist Theory and embracing child-led play and social-emotional learning, you will help co-create a safe, stimulating environment that partners with parents to shape a child’s future. Job Requirements
- Education & Certification:
- Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification is required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Completion of a State Approved Orientation for Child Care Providers, with daily implementation supported by the Director/Assistant Director.
- Experience & Skills:
- Prior experience working with young children, demonstrating effective classroom management through positive redirection, problem solving, setting appropriate limits, and active listening.
- Ability to develop and deliver a quality curriculum that promotes intellectual, social-emotional, physical, and language development.
- Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with families, colleagues, and community stakeholders.
- A commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusivity, with the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding program details.
- Physical Demands:
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects of up to 20 pounds.
