Ingram Micro has embarked on a multiyear digital transformation journey to overhaul our business support systems that run a distributed $50B+ global distribution enterprise with presence in 20+ countries. A key part of this transformation journey will be to leverage public cloud infrastructure for compute, storage and network needs. We are looking for a Lead Principal Cloud Architect to help develop and execute our multi-year cloud strategy.  

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team. The Senior Enterprise Architect will play a key role in shaping the technology strategy and architecture of our organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving innovation.

Your role:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop technology strategies that support organizational goals.
  • Design and document enterprise-level architectures, including systems, applications, data, and infrastructure, to support business needs and enable future scalability.
  • Evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to determine their suitability for adoption within the organization's architecture.
  • Establish and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards.
  • Identify and mitigate architectural risks by conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate controls and mitigation strategies.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to development teams to ensure adherence to architectural principles and best practices.
  • Lead architectural reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization of the enterprise architecture.
  • Facilitate the adoption of architectural changes by communicating effectively with stakeholders and managing the transition process to minimize disruption to operations.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and industry best practices to anticipate future architectural needs and drive innovation within the organization.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex systems and solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
  • Solid understanding of security principles and best practices, with experience in designing and implementing secure architectures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Lead development of organizational change management.
  • Assist the external cloud organization in keeping up with the latest developments to optimize performance and reduce costs.
  • Run workshops and provide best practice consultancy to customers.

Hands-on experience with

  • Containers and container management: Docker and/or Kubernetes e.g. Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)
  • Designing and building micro front end architect and micro services architecture
  • Building and modeling customer data platforms and data lakes.
  • Infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, database, security, networking, and cloud-based delivery models
  • Database architectures, ETL, BI, Advanced Analytics, HA (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL)
  • Implementing cross functional aspects like Auditing, Log management, Policies,
