Job Overview

UC CECH School of Human Services Center for Research and Innovation is currently recruiting a highly qualified Research Associate to contribute to a specific research grant projects’ research and business operations. The selected candidate will oversee projects and ensure that the goals of the project are achieved through project tracking and service delivery. Responsibilities include day-to-day administration of specialized grant related activities and communicating with team members, internally and externally, to ensure that each phase of the project proceeds as planned and overseeing, with guidance, the planning and tracking of financials. This position is grant funded for one year. If there is no additional funding to support this position after one year, the position will end. This position will be based within Cincinnati Public Schools and funded through the University of Cincinnati. Essential Functions

  • Assist with the coordination of research studies for the UC CECH School of Human Services awarded project Cincinnati MEASURES (Mental health, Education, and Successful Urban Relationship Expansion in the Schools) Program grant.
  • Make independent contributions to the project and studies based on professional training or functional experience.
  • Solve problems using combined research knowledge.
  • Independently work on whole projects/problems.
  • Contribute to the collective team effort. Collaborate with staff to achieve vision and mission for the Cincinnati MEASURES (Mental health, Education, and Successful Urban Relationship Expansion in the Schools) Program grant.
  • Analyze research results.
  • Accomplish assigned results for project/studies, or for significant aspects of larger, complex assignments.
  • May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to interns and/or exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
