As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Support in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role blends customer service and communication with mobile patrol responsibilities, offering the chance to support daily operations while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or vendor entry as directed by site policies, and communicate with site contacts regarding deliveries, trailers, and facility activity.
• Assist with maintaining order at the location by observing daily operations, following post instructions, and supporting a professional environment for staff, contractors, and/or guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
