SPECIAL NOTES:

Requirements:

• Two (2) years of auditing and/or analysis of financial documents.
• Ability to travel within Leon county.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

 

Preferences:

• Two (2) years or more of experience in dealing with credit card acceptance rules.
• Two (2) years or more of experience in procuring and managing contracts.
• Two (2) years or more of professional banking experience. 
• Two (2) years or more of State of Florida accounting.
• Two (2) years or more of State of Florida experience at the professional level.
• Ability to prepare and give presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

 

This position is not eligible for teleworking. Applicants will be required to work in the Tallahassee Office located at 1801 Hermitage Blvd.

 

It is anticipated that travel within the Tallahassee area will be required 10% of the time for this position.

 

This position requires a security background check including fingerprinting as a condition of employment.

 

Interview will consist of: Oral interview questions and work sample. Work samples will be answered using Microsoft Word and Excel

 

The anticipated salary for this position will be between $50,000.00 and $54,000.00. The salary may be commensurate with experience.

 

Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

 

This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.

REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of methods of data collection and analysis. Knowledge of basic management principles and practices. Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document workflow and other activities relating to the improvement of operational and management practices. Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials. Ability to utiliz
