We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Director, Digital & Information Technology, reporting to the OPW Chief Financial Officer. This position will have dotted-line responsibility to the Dover VP of IT, aligning Dover’s global IT strategy to OPW’s global footprint.  

 

 

 

 

 

The Director of Digital & IT will be responsible for creating vision for the Digital & IT function within OPW.  Key objectives will be to design the Digital & IT organization model, align talent to support and orchestrate governance & company resources to support transformational initiatives for digital and back-office operations.

 

Job Summary:  

 

•    Responsible for defining and executing the long-term information technology strategy to support OPW’s business objectives while aligning to Dover corporate standards and platforms. 

•    Partner with corporate shared services to deliver high quality IT support to OPW users, particular to the Digital aspects of the role, leading the digital transformation for commercial applications to support business growth. 

•    This position will provide leadership and vision as it relates to the lifecycle management of externally facing digital tools and KPIs, including adoption, development, and execution. 

•    Develops and leads the long-term vision to create a world class online customer experience in coordination with business leaders and in partnership with the Dover Digital Labs. 

•    Establish OPW as a leader in the digital customer experience through the creation and enhancement of the necessary tools to achieve business goals. 

 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

 

•    Provide leadership, vision, and management to the OPW Digital & IT organization in a matrixed environment.
•    Be an active member of the OPW leadership team, provide input into strategic planning, align technology objectives, and execute supporting initiatives.
•    Deliver strategic business objectives through the application of technology and process improvement, leveraging Dover shared services and Centers of Excellence where required to succeed.
•    Drive annual planning and budgeting for OPW Digital technology investments and IT operations. Consolidate a comprehensive vision for the OPW Digital roadmap, integrating existing plans with future initiatives to support business growth objectives. Develop a global program governance model to prioritize technology initiatives, allocate limited resources, and foster successful execution.
•    Update OPW IT support processes to fully leverage Dover shared services to provide high quality support for OPW users.
•    Serve as the ultimate escalation point for IT issues and service delivery. Hold shared service organizations accountable to perform in line with committed service levels.
•    Serve as a key change agent within the OPW business, advocating for innovative technology solutions, supporting operational readiness, and facilitating clear communication and alignment between cross-functional teams. Develop, maintain, and manage a product roadmap that accesses and prioritizes future development needs based on the commercial digital strategy including but not limited to:  Ecommerce functionality, CPQ tools and other digital enhancements.
