Microsoft Digital Studio is a global team of designers, researchers, data scientists, and strategists who collaborate to create innovative digital products and services for Microsoft and its customers. We are looking for a Senior Mixed Methods UX Researcher to join our studio and lead user research projects across various domains and platforms, including focusing primarily on Copilot.

Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and conduct user research activities such as quantitative surveys, usability tests, diary studies, and interviews.
- Partner closely with key stakeholders across design, engineering, data science, and leadership to establish trust and deliver actionable insights in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Analyze and synthesize both quantitative and qualitative user data and insights to inform design decisions and strategy.
- Communicate and present research findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders, including product teams, senior management, and external clients.
- Mentor and coach other researchers and designers on user research methods and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver user-centric digital solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 4+ years User Experience Research experience
- OR Master's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 3+ years User Experience Research experience
- OR Doctorate in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 1+ year(s) User Experience Research experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in a variety of user research methods and tools, such as qualitative and quantitative analysis, remote and in-person testing, prototyping, and data visualization.
- Experience with online survey platforms, such as Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, or Microsoft Forms.
- A portfolio of user research projects that demonstrate your impact and process.
Preferred Qualifications:
