Our edge comes from our team of people and our commitment to patients.</p><p>Here at Sobi, our mission and culture get us excited to come to work every day, but here are a few more reasons to join our team:</p><ul><li>Competitive compensation for your work</li><li>Emphasis on work/life balance</li><li>Collaborative and team-oriented environment</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth</li><li>Diversity and Inclusion</li><li>Making a positive impact to help ultra-rare disease patients who are in need of life saving treatments</li></ul><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Engage in non-promotional, peer-to-peer scientific exchanges with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) in <strong>nephrology and related rare diseases</strong>, with the goal of improving patient outcomes and contributing to innovative healthcare partnerships.</li><li>Gather and leverage insights from the <strong>nephrology therapeutic area</strong> to contribute to the local medical strategy and plan (LMP), ensuring effective execution of the Field Medical Plan (FMP).</li><li>Deliver high-quality scientific communications and medical education on <strong>nephrology disease awareness</strong> and related rare diseases, addressing medical information inquiries in a timely and compliant manner.</li><li>Support the implementation and execution of company-sponsored clinical trials and Investigator Sponsored Studies (ISSs) in <strong>nephrology</strong>, whilst exploring real-world evidence (RWE) generation opportunities.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally within the organisation, providing <strong>nephrology subject-matter expertise</strong> to other strategic functions (e.g., CE&C, Marketing, Access, and Commercial teams).</li><li>Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with Sobi SOPs/guidance, local regulations, and industry codes, including prompt communication of adverse events to the Pharmacovigilance department.</li><li>Maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned product(s) and the <strong>nephrology therapeutic area</strong>, as well as relevant rare disease areas, through continuous professional development and participation in training sessions, seminars, and literature reviews.</li><li>Manage administrative responsibilities efficiently, including customer relationship management tools and expense reporting.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>PharmD, PhD, MD, or other post-graduate degree in health/life sciences, with preferable experience in a medical/clinical science function role (minimum 2–3 years), ideally within <strong>nephrology and rare diseases</strong>.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage effectively with KOLs, HCPs, and cross-functional stakeholders.</li><li>Adaptable, results-oriented professional capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, field-based environment.</li><li>Proven ability to create and foster effective <strong>scientific relationships in nephrology</strong> with KOLs and other stakeholders, translating complex clinical and scientific data into actionable insights for physicians and improved patient care.</li><li>Strong knowledge of the <strong>healthcare system, nephrology treatment landscape, and regulatory guidelines</strong> relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to compliance, quality, and integrity in all activities and behaviours.</li><li>Preferable experience in <strong>rare diseases, nephrology-focused new products, and launch activities</strong>.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>All Sobi employees need to demonstrate behaviors in line with Sobi's core values: Care, Ambition, Urgency, Ownership and Partnership.
