Domestic Senior Tax Analyst

Position Summary

Assist with various aspects of US federal and state partnership (“P/S”) and disregarded entity (“DE”) taxation for the Company including (1) tax compliance and estimated payments; (2) management of US tax audits; (3) Fixed asset maintenance and (4) income tax provision, etc.  The position will be multi-disciplinary and focus on assisting Director of Tax with US tax implications and calculations, departmental administration, interaction with various business groups within the Company, etc.

Job Description

• Work with outside tax advisors to prepare corporate and partnership Federal and State Income Tax Returns
• Prepare quarterly estimates and extensions.
• Ensure that filings are accurate, timely, and meet the requirements for taxing jurisdictions.
• Prepare tax return workpapers and account reconciliations.
• Prepare apportionment factors and state tax adjustments.
• Prepare and review fixed assets computations and maintain SAGE Fixed asset software.
• Assist with management of US audits which will include interacting with examination agents, preparation, and review of responses to IDRs, etc.
• Assist with income tax provision calculation.
• Assist with maintaining tax calendar.
• Assist in identifying and managing the implementation of tax department process improvements
• Research US domestic tax issues and communicate findings effectively
• Continuous process improvement through recommending and implementing efficiencies
• Any other duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.

Years of Related Experience

At least 4 years of experience
