At NIQ, we deliver the most complete and clear understanding of consumer buying behavior that reveals new pathways to growth. We are looking to add an Associate Client Manager to our Business Intelligence Analytics Team.

NIQ's Business Intelligence team works with companies to provide insights and thought leadership via recurring and ad-hoc reporting. Our insights help clients set pricing strategies, launch new products, and determine what products you ultimately see on the shelf and online. Our Business Intelligence team members are experts on NIQ Solutions and Services and are viewed as trusted partners by our clients.  

This is a hybrid position and requires being onsite in Buffalo, NY 2 days a week.

Job Description

As an Associate Client Manager, you'll use your consultative expertise, previous Business Intelligence experience and familiarity with NIQ data, to develop reports that turn data into information and help your client/s make action-oriented business decisions. Your well-honed consulting skills will enable you to establish credibility with senior client leadership and deliver measurable results.  

Responsibilities  

  • Become a subject matter expert on NIQ Business Intelligence products and services. 
  • Develop mastery of propriety NIQ data and tools (Connect, Discover, PowerBI, RPA, etc.) to make recommendations for how to best address your client’s most pressing business questions.   
  • Identify sales opportunities for NIQ Services and Solutions to help client achieve strategic objectives.  
  • Create and deliver reporting solutions for client performance tracking and success measurement.  
  • Drive increased usage/adoption of Business Intelligence tools by developing and optimizing reports to answer key business questions and uncover trends.  
  • Consult directly with clients and stakeholders on the optimal use of BI tools, applications for automation, analytics and reporting.  
  • Deliver reporting and insights solutions on time and according to specifications.  
  • Support achievement of internal and external Joint Business Plans for assigned solution or area. 
  • Develop impactful client presentations by applying market and industry knowledge and conducting advanced issue-based analyses to come up with proactive insights and action-oriented recommendations. 
  • Participate in collaborative cross functional forums to prioritize and address client needs and aid in the development of best practices,   
  • Establish and foster trusted partnerships with senior decision makers at clients by providing ongoing value by driving client outcomes.  
  • Achieve goals for client retention, expansion, satisfaction, and advocacy.  

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree.  
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools, e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, NIQ Discover.  
  • 2-3 years’ applicable industry experience: CPG/ FMCG, consulting, business intelligence and/or analytics.  
  • Skilled at developing trusted relationships with clients. 
  • Strong analytical aptitude and natural curiosity.   
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills.       
  • Robust project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects.    
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.                    
  • Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). 
  • Able to share NIQ solutions in a digestible way that helps our clients meet their strategic goals.  
  • Agree to work onsite at the client’s office in Buffalo, NY two days per week, the other three days will be work from home/remote. 

Preferred:  

  • Experience with data storytelling.  
  • Retailer knowledge, including knowledge of consumer and category insights.

Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $65-85k. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
