What you’ll do 

We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Chapter Lead EU who will help us get better in hiring the right talent, providing the best candidate experience and promoting diverse and inclusive hiring processes. The position holder will be responsible for setting up the ideal team set-up, driving the knowledge and best practices exchange, cross-functional synergies and project management throughout the Talent Acquisition (TA) chapter with a focus on Europe. 

The TA team at SumUp is embedded into businesses and the TA Chapter Lead will guide and coach TA team members embedded in business and also working very closely with the leadership team at SumUp. The TA Chapter Lead will report into the Chief People Officer and will have a direct team of four coordinators. 

• Develop and implement the right metrics and KPIs throughout the TA chapter to improve excellence and efficiency in the hiring processes
• Strengthen hiring processes for the best candidate experience
• Guide business leaders on hiring prioritization, support alignment between TA capacity and hiring needs across the region 
• Develop and implement rituals such as all-hands and offsites to improve team cohesiveness and exchange of best practices for TA chapter
• Co-develop the right talent development programme for the TA community together with the business leaders
• Collaborate with other TA and People teams in other regions to exchange best practices and understand the global needs 
• Support decision making on technology and tools to improve hiring processes and candidate experience 
• Bring a more data focused approach to TA using the right tools and technologies 
• Guide teams on the most inclusive and diverse hiring practices
• Contribute to the employer branding agenda

You’ll be great for this role if,

• You have management experience ideally in Talent Acquisition in a similar large, multi-national and complex tech organization
• You demonstrate strong analytical thinking and business acumen with an understanding of how strategic talent acquisition impacts the business
• You have experience in providing mentorship and guidance to teams and designing career development plans 
• You’re able to influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
• You’re a strong communicator
• You have strong project management skills and results orientation
• You have a solution oriented attitude with the right balance of innovation and pragmatic creativity
