We are seeking a QA/QC Inspector to ensure compliance with our QA Program and perform inspections according to ASME, NBIC, and other associated standards. In this role, you will contribute to maintaining the highest quality standards in the power generation, refining, petrochemical, and related industries. We are seeking a QA/QC Inspector to ensure compliance with our QA Program and perform inspections according to ASME, NBIC, and other associated standards. - Experience:
- At least 2 years of inspection experience in power generation, refining, petrochemical, or related industries.
- Knowledge of ASME Codes and other standards governing repair, replacement, and modification activities.
- Familiarity with receipt inspection processes, welding processes, and welder and weld procedure qualification.
- Previous certification and ability to be certified at Level II VT, PT, MT & UTT methods and mechanical inspection activities.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent, with additional technical training or relevant experience.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface in a Code-compliant environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Perform and document inspection and surveillance activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Review specifications, drawings, and reports to ensure quality requirements are accurately translated into work instructions.
- Inspect incoming materials for compliance with customer contracts and purchase orders.
- Work flexible hours, including day and night shifts as required.
- Operate in a field-based role at power generation facilities, refineries, and chemical plants.
- Travel regularly to different job sites.
- Stand, kneel, and perform inspections for extended periods.
- Perform light lifting (up to 50lbs).
