Job Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Under general supervision, develops and performs Quality Assurance/Quality Control audits based on quality system standards such as ISO 9000.
  • Assesses and documents the compliance to such systems based on the quality system standards. Identifies improvement opportunities based on audit.
  • Performing vendor audits in order to improve incoming supplies.
  • Planning, directing, and providing technical support for testing and design in materials engineering activities.
  • Providing technical support to operations in the areas of nondestructive examination and Welding Engineering.
  • May be involved with a team performing quality inspections on products according to engineering drawings, specifications, prescribed methods, and instructions.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in an Engineering required and 7 years of experience required.
