Clinical Education Specialist
The Clinical Education Specialist is a combined role responsible for supporting our Clinical Training and Medical Education programs for the Structural Heart (SH) Business.
Your role:
- Plays a supporting role in the planning, development and implementation of training curricula that facilitates clinical, technical and/or sales competence, confidence & proficiency in independently supporting the IGTD Structural Heart portfolios.
- Collaborates with peers, on training materials for your assigned area and is a supportive and approachable resource for all stakeholders and continually demonstrates a “how can I help” behavior and ensuring all educational programs are in line with compliance guidelines.
- Provides organization and support direction of the onboarding and field training process, continuously seeking to shorten the learning curve for clinical technical and/or sales competence and confidence through innovation.
- Delivers Clinical Specialist training programs end to end - responsibilities include managing to budget, execution of objectives & agenda, content creation in collaboration with KTLs, timely/creative promotion and advertising leveraging marketing and using social media platforms.
- Assists with planning and development of training curricula and programs for external customers that facilitates clinical and technical confidence & proficiency and overall adoption of Structural Heart portfolio of products.
- Facilitation of document review and approval process, working with content creation partners to ensure all materials are within compliance (PRP review).
You're the right fit if:
- You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in Structural Cardiac Cath lab, SHD procedural experience & knowledge (LAAO, PFO/ASD, TEER, TM/TVR); TEE or ICE imaging experience highly preferred. Image interpretation skills are critical to success and image acquisition/optimization are preferred; device industry and working with Physicians preferred (communication, contracting, co-creation of content, etc).
- Your skills include strong organizational skills, detailed oriented, high commination ability, exhibit business intelligence as well as executive presence; excellent written and verbal communication; communicates in a manner that is clear and concise and can adapt style to audience.
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree required, MS degree nice to have in a Science, Medicine or related field.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
- You’re able to travel overnight up to 60%.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
