Maintenance Technician - PPC

Starting Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

A Maintenance Technician ensures the smooth operation of equipment and systems by performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. This role involves keeping facilities running efficiently, responding to emergencies, and maintaining safety standards

What you will do as a Maintenance Technician:

• Performing daily maintenance and troubleshooting, including plumbing repairs
• Handling light carpentry, painting, and minor electrical tasks for remodeling projects
• Conducting  quarterly assessments of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs
• Using hand tools, electric tools, ladders, and miscellaneous power equipment safely and effectively as directed

 

To be successful as a Maintenance Technician, you'll need:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three to Five years of experience in roofing/heights/roof draining for commercial building maintenance
• To possess a valid New York State Driver's license, with no restrictions
• TO be able to work independently with little to no supervision
• The ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
• The ability to work with ladders and lifts
• The ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time and lift up to 75 pounds.
