THE WORK:

• You'll manage construction projects and programs involving fiber optic systems and low voltage telecom/security, ideally within data center environments.
• You'll review construction documents to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility.
• You'll lead internal and external cross-functional teams and partners to develop project scopes, plans, budgets, and schedules.
• You'll deliver large-scale projects on time and on or under budget, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
• You'll manage vendor relationships and apply best practices from the design and construction industry, including fast-track design-build processes, contracts, and documentation.
• You'll gather requirements, organize resources, prioritize tasks, and drive project schedules to meet objectives within budget.
• You'll identify and manage risks, respond to change requests and RFIs, develop RFPs, schedule and forecast costs, report on project status, handle procurement, and negotiate with contractors and vendors.
• You'll apply deep knowledge of fiber optic testing standards and equipment to ensure system integrity and performance.
• Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, networks, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience focused on managing telecommunications, low-voltage and fiber-optics construction scopes of work. 

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience with fiber optics, low-voltage telecom, and security systems
• Experience in data centers or mission-critical environments preferred
• Strong skills in scheduling, budgeting, and vendor management
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings for network infrastructure projects
• Certifications such as BICSI, RCDD, RTPM, or PMP are highly desired
• Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues and propose effective solutions
• Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and vendors
• Ability to work well within a team environment while also being capable of taking initiative when necessary
