CDL A Regional Truck Driver

Southshore Distribution is seeking a qualified and dependable Class A Truck Driver for a full-time, day time Regional position. This role involves operating a 53’ dry van Monday through Friday, with no evening or weekend shifts. The position offers a consistent schedule, allowing drivers to be home every night. We are looking for a safety-conscious, professional individual who will represent our company well while providing timely and courteous service to our local customers. Responsibilities:

• To be DOT compliant and follow all company safety procedures.
• FMCSA compliant and Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse compliant.
• Ensure that all proper documentation is in order.
• Drive commercial motive equipment. (Class A CDL driver's license.)
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Good customer relations.
• Other duties as directed.

Skills/Experience:

• Must pass drivers test.
• Must have all state and federal documents required for driving all related equipment.
• Ability to interact within a team environment.
• Two years' experience preferred but not required.
• Proven ability to operate a 26 foot straight truck.

Working Environment:

• Normal driving environment.
• Work hours may vary depending on our customers scheduled delivery time.

Pay:
