Location: 555 N West Bourne Circle, Farmington, Utah 84025

Employment Type: Full Time

Position Type: Hourly 

Pay Starting at: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
A dynamic and outgoing Parts Driver that is excited to assist in the delivery of an extraordinary client experience.  

  • Must have a clean Driving Record and valid Driver’s license.

  • Drive safely and efficiently, observing all traffic laws.

  • Maintain appearance of Parts Delivery vehicle.

  • Ability to operate a full size cargo van, change a flat-tire etc. in all weather conditions.

  • Knowledge of the Salt Lake City metro area and street numbering system.

  • Must be able to follow navigation and read maps.

  • Ability to sit for up to 8 hours.

  • Ability to read; invoices, signs etc. and understand numbers.

  • Pick up parts ordered by the parts department from local suppliers.

  • Deliver parts to wholesale customers after verifying that the orders are correct and complete before leaving. Collect monies as specified on the delivery invoice.

  • Load company vehicles in such a way as not to damage any parts being delivered from or returning to the dealership.

  • Maintain accurate and complete delivery log.

  • Pickup and delivery of parts as instructed by the supervisor.

  • Organize, pull and load parts to ensure order is complete

  • Ability to work well and get along with others, including customers, employees and other departments.

  • Apply Mercedes-Benz of Farmington standards including mission/vision statement, core values and guiding principles for superior customer service for both internal and external customers.

  • Must work in all weather conditions.

  • Requires frequent lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.

  • Regular, punctual attendance is required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Must be self motivated and be able to work without direct supervision.

  • Dress appropriately and maintain professional appearance.

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver license.

  • Must possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
