We're excited to continue solidifying that foundation as we are looking for a Senior Director of Technology to join our Retail Division team in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The Sr. Director of Technology will empower and inspire the business applications support and technology operations teams through coaching and mentoring to ensure the consistent delivery of support services for technology solutions and corresponding infrastructure within the Retail Division. The individual in this role will leverage their extensive leadership skills to coach, develop and drive performance within their teams.  This role will be a collaborative business partner with regional and divisional leaders and work across service teams to ensure consistency in service delivery, customer support, security measures and production stability to support business needs and objectives.

General Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and motivate the business applications support and operations teams to provide high levels of consistent support to the profit centers.

  • Empower their teams through coaching and help them grow in their careers.

  • Work with regional and divisional business leaders and other Technology Solutions teams to ensure the consistent delivery of service, support and stability.

  • Ensure support services for technology solutions and corresponding infrastructure are in place and running effectively to provide optimum availability to the business.

  • Perform route causes analysis and manage to resolution regional and divisional escalations while keeping key stakeholders informed.

  • Establish collaborative relationships across service teams and divisional profit center leadership to maximize performance, provide quality customer service, and utilize successful best practices across regions and profit centers.

  • Manage the budget (OPEX & CAPEX) and resources of the regional unit, including project costing.

  • Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery, back-up procedures, and health checks.

  • Maintain regulatory and internal compliance around IT controls and assist in developing best practices.

  • Oversee endpoint management to ensure proper service delivery, device life-cycle management and secure practices across the division.

  • Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by identifying problems, evaluating trends and anticipating needs.

  • Lead the integration of newly acquired entities into the existing standards while minimizing business impact.

  • Perform other duties and special project as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent experience, plus relevant experience as an ITSM or IT operations manager; Master’s degree in business administration is a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams with an emphasis on change management and talent development.

  • Strong understanding of ITSM and ITIL frameworks and tools.

  • ITIL certification and solid experience with IT Service/Help Desk operations supporting a least 1,000 user-based endpoints.

  • Experience in help desk ticketing systems; knowledge of ServiceNow is preferred.

  • Able to work in a fast paced, cross-functional and mult-team environment.

  • Able to learn from experience and apply that learning to perform successfully under new or first-time conditions.

  • Ability to operate with a high level of autonomy under direction from the DCIO for the Retail Division.

  • Ability to travel as appropriate (approximately 20%)
