Business Intelligence Analysts at GuidePoint Security work on the cutting edge of Information Technology and Information Security. Qualified candidates should have multiple years of hands-on experience with top Business Intelligence and data visualization tools. A successful contributor will have a strong passion and demonstrable capabilities in the design and creation of impactful analytic solutions, supporting business users throughout the development process, from documentation of business process and requirements through implementation.

Roles and Responsibilities

•    Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
•    Exhibit proficiency to comprehend and contribute to functional requirements as well as ability to activate changes at a functional level 
•    Demonstrate ability to provide exceptional customer service to the GuidePoint user base and escalate operational issues as appropriate.
•    Complete day-to-day activities needed for the administration of the Domo platform, including operational maintenance and governance efforts ensuring high data integrity via best practices and automation techniques
•    Evaluate existing processes, workflows and reporting requirements to identify the most effective and efficient model for implementation
•    Stay current with the periodic Domo releases and general Business Intelligence trends
•    Execute Domo release deployments and oversee data quality with cross functional data analysis.
•    Adhere to standards and IT best practices, including but not limited to system, design, operational, installation, security, and configuration
•    Be willing to adapt to changes within in a rapidly growing organization 
•    Communicate progress, obstacles, and ideas to management in an effective, consistent, and timely manner
•    Must be able to work independently as well as collaborate with a larger team
•    Be willing to work in an environment that promotes new ideas, “thinks outside the box” and strives for excellence in all aspects of application solutions delivery 
•    Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements 

•    Experience working with business stakeholders translating requests into business requirements 
•    Ability to read, modify, and understand the impact of existing SQL queries and ETL routines
•    Experience with BI or reporting system administration
•    Experience with the creation and enhancement of data dashboards, cards, trusted attributes, scheduled reports and alerts
•    Experience connecting datasets from multiple external systems 
•    Experience implementing/managing user/role data permission policies
•    Proven track record in managing multiple priorities and timelines
•    Demonstrated experience working in an enterprise level environment
•    Experience with ticketing systems such as JIRA

Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience 
•    7+ years of ETL development experience utilizing industry leading tools 
•    7+ years of experience using BI, reporting and data visualization tools 
•    Domo experience is a plus 
•    Certifications or experience with NetSuite, Salesforce and OpenAir applications are a plus
