Certified Medical Assistant

Location: Talcott Primary CarePosition: Certified Medical Assistant
Salary: Experience dependent - $19.00/HourHours: TBD
Job Description: Work collaboratively with (3) Primary Care Physicians and Mid-level at a busy medical office located at the Resurrection Medical Center Campus.

Responsibilities Include:

• Timely rooming of patients.
• Exhibit empathy and understanding to patients.
• Taking and documenting accurate vitals, patient history, and age-appropriate screenings, using electronic medical records.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms between patients.
• Phlebotomy (lab draw and preparation)
• Support Physicians with minor procedures.
• Administer vaccines and other medications as determined by clinical team.
• Experience in a medical office or clinic setting required.
• Knowledge about Value-based Care programs preferred.
• Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, behavioral maturity, self-motivation, and enjoy working with all ages from children to older adults. In addition to a the Talcott Team.
• Triage phone calls as determined by clinical team.
