Summary
Manage projects for department functional area and facilitate implementation of projects. Develops key metrics related to ensure expected outcomes are being achieved and continually monitors progress. Gathers data, directs analysis, and designs project plans. Works within project budget and timeframes and changes or refines work plan to adapt to changing requirements (i.e., timeframe, priorities, budget, etc). Acts on behalf of the customer based on thorough assessment and understanding of needs. Responsible for the follow-through and resolution of customer issues. Assists in identifying key project members and forms/directs project teams. Sets clear standards and expectations and holds self and project team accountable to them. Informs leadership of project status including changes that may affect scheduling and resource levels. Is responsible for working collaboratively with all facilities and outside entities to ensure that processes are in place for the enhancement of operations. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Performs other related duties as assigned
Education:
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Health Services or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master’s degree
Experience:
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years progressive responsibility in performance improvement/engineering including project management, meeting facilitation with both administrative and operational stakeholders, growth strategies/programs development, and leadership.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Six Sigma or LEAN
Certifications:
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Project Management Professional (PMP)
