Central Services Tech II - Full-Time 8hr - Days Variable

$36.55 - $41.81 

Job Summary
The Central Supply Technician II is assigned the responsibility for reprocessing reusable medical equipment, sterilization and distribution of medical supplied/equipment. The Central Supply Technician II provides the majority of training and orientation needed for new staff members, assists in the development of continuing education programs and conducts in-services as needed. 

In addition to the essential functions lister below, the Central Supply Technician may also be assigned other duties as required. 

Education Requirements

• High school graduate, required.
• Completion of medical terminology course, preferred. 

Work Experience Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year recent experience as a CS Tech I. Experience with computerized inventory control systems. Required
• Completion of medical terminology course. Preferred

Licensure Supplies

• Certified by approved certification boards. Active certification must be maintained.

Skills & Abilities Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology as it pertains to medical supplies and equipment.
