Production Manager

Description

Job Purpose

Direct single-site assembly operations through a team of supvervisors and employees.

Position Responsibilities

• Oversee the manufacturing processes and ensure the assembly or production processes adhere to policies and procedures
• Provide leadership; assume responsibility and accountability to ensure overall management and direction for assigned departments
• Ensure compliance with Company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, OSHA, and safety at the lowest possible cost.
• Manage material requirements to increase inventory turns and reduce levels on hand.
• Evaluate, build and manage relationships with vendors.
• Plan and manages production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery of all customer orders.
• Responsible for the analysis of service requests with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
• Run Production meetings to communicate priorities to staff and business
• Perform in-process quality control checks to ensure company standards are met
• Perform final quality inspection prior to delivery of the vehicle to customer

• Technical skills in materials and inventory management and production scheduling.
• A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
• Ability to think ahead and plan over a 3-6 month time span.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent project and program management skills.
• Quality orientation.
• Computer proficient

Education and Experience

• Certification or degree in Business Management, Accounting or Finance with five years + previous experience in management or leadership.
• Proficient and experienced with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience working in computer parts procurement is helpful.
• Experience working in the development and design of software and hardware for casino player stations is a plus.
