POSITION SUMMARY 

Radiology Partners is seeking a PRN X-ray Technologist who will deliver quality patient care during X-ray procedures by exhibiting patience and a thorough knowledge of the examination.  

 
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Communicates and explains procedure with patient  
• Prepare and position patient for diagnostic imaging procedure 
• Position radiation protection devices such as lead shields 
• Setting x-ray equipment at the correct angle and height over the appropriate area of the patient’s body 
• Setting controls on the X-ray machine to produce X-rays or radiographs of the appropriate density, detail, and contrast 
• Capture image of each angle following physician’s orders precisely 
• Evaluate image for quality 
• Communicates with radiologists and personnel within other practices concerning patients  
• Maintain patient records / documentation 
• Ensures operation of equipment 
• Performs required cleaning
