Warehouse and Packaging Associate

We are looking for a capable Warehouse and Packaging Associate to support our company’s warehouse operations in Otay Mesa, CA. You will receive, input, sort, load and unload products, package products, and perform various warehouse activities.

Part-time. 3-4 days a week. Monday through Friday 8am-4pm, or 9am-5pm

Responsibilities

• Process and package orders accurately
• Build boxes or pallets for shipment and placing packaged orders in the correct area for distribution
• Sealing packages and labeling correctly
• Organize stock and maintain inventory
• Organize warehouse space
• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
• Check, verify and fill customer orders
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
• Keep warehouse clean and organized daily

Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
• Physical requirements may include lifting and moving boxes up to 65 pounds, standing for long periods of time
• Properly using material, such as hand tools, glues, saw, padding, tape gun etc
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with other team members
• Ability to work independently
• Building boxes and pallets for shipments
• Warehouse, shipping, packaging, kitting and production experience helpful
• Otay Mesa, CA 92154: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
