Job Summary:

This position is responsible for assembling and analyzing data and information in support of the Sourcing, Category Development, Distribution, Account Management, Sales and Finance organizations for Foodbuy. This position is accountable for developing and implementing forms of financial, quantitative, and qualitative measurements to provide documentation of financial performance. This role is responsible for data integrity and accuracy as well as adhering to established processes and standards, for training and mentoring others within their team and providing overviews for other teams.  The analyst is expected to lead/manage and may be asked to represent multiple teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide monthly standardized reporting for various departments.
• Provide ad hoc reporting for various departments.
• Maintain queries and data elements for queries.
• Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of analyses.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to Ensure business objectives are met.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve complete & accurate analyses.
• Adherence to established processes and reporting standards in place.
• Resolve customer challenges related to analysis.
• Review and enhance process efficiencies and documentation.
• Train and mentor others within team including validation of their work product.
• Seek out and resolve data related issues prior to financial implication.
• Build reporting and functionality that enhances the team's offering to the business and maximize efficiency.
• Manage complex competing priorities with strict deadlines and strong financial results.
• Ability to learn and master new technologies.
• Develop working knowledge of team responsibilities across Data Intelligence.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on presenting insights clearly.
• 2-year Distribution, foodservice, master data management or financial analysis experience required
• Sense of urgency and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to meet deadlines and deliverables.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. 
• Strong attention to detail
• Financial analysis, trend analysis, and/or audit experience preferred.
• Working with units of measure/conversions and complex calculations
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes to improve efficiency and outcomes. 
• Collaboration - Works well as a member of a team
• Advance Microsoft Excel experience including pivots, lookups, and Power Query. 
• Experience with Power BI. 
• Detail-oriented and analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to validate the accuracy of deliverables.
