Data Analyst

At BESTSELLER we are looking for a Data Analyst to join our international E-commerce team in Amsterdam or Aarhus. 

 

BESTSELLER is one of Europe’s largest fashion companies with a wide variety of brands, including VERO MODA, ONLY, SELECTED and JACK & JONES. From Amsterdam, we support all BESTSELLER brands in growing and optimizing their E-commerce activities. As a Data Analyst in our team, you will act as a bridge between business and tech teams to drive data-driven decision making. Hereby you will gain experience in each step of the process, from collecting the data to delivering business insights.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Building reports and analyses to support various business teams (Marketplaces team and Logistics team) 

• Presenting insights & recommendations to decision makers 

• Translating business questions into analytical problems  

• Writing technical requirements and documentation 

 

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: 

• 3-5 years working experience in a similar role. 

• Advanced SQL, Power BI and Excel skills. 

• Experience with Snowflake and dbt. 

• Great communication skills, ability to explain complex problems clearly. 

• Eagerness to learn new skills and share findings with the team. 

• Bachelors, master’s or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (e.g. Economics, Business Analytics, Informatics, Finance or equivalent) 

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly, work independently, and take ownership of your work. 

• We work with a wide array of technical systems so we’re looking for someone who enjoys learning new tools. 

• Fluency in English 

• Knowledge of an E-commerce business model.
