Position Overview
AMS Impact Group is seeking a strategic, results-driven instructional leader to serve as Vice President of Curriculum & Instruction (VP of C&I). This role is responsible for owning and driving the instructional systems that ensure all AMS Impact Group affiliated schools achieve and maintain A-ratings.
The VP of C&I is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving a high-quality, equitable academic program that drives student success and builds instructional excellence across the AMS network. Serving a predominantly Title I student population, the VP of C&I ensures that curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning systems are aligned, effective, and responsive to the needs of students and educators across all AMS schools in each state in which it operates.
This position reports directly to the Chief Academic Officer (CAO) and plays a critical role in advancing AMS’s academic vision, particularly for Title I and English Learner (EL) populations. This role requires a leader who is both strategic and operational—capable of setting a clear academic vision while also ensuring consistent, high-fidelity execution in classrooms. The VP of C&I works closely with school leaders to strengthen instructional practice, develop teacher capacity, and close achievement gaps across all schools and states.
