Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation | Kingston of Vermilion, OH

Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN | On-Site | Ohio PTA License Required

Kingston of Vermilion is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, you’ll play a key role in helping residents regain mobility, strength, and independence while contributing to a supportive, resident-focused care environment in Vermilion, Ohio.

What You’ll Do as a Physical Therapy Assistant

• Deliver therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist

• Support residents with exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation activities

• Monitor and document progress, reporting updates to the Physical Therapist

• Provide education to residents and families on safe movement and home exercise practices

• Create a positive, encouraging atmosphere during therapy sessions

• Ensure compliance with Ohio state regulations and Kingston’s standards of care

What You’ll Need

• Active Ohio Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred (new grads welcome)

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Compassionate, resident-first approach to therapy

• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care team
