Overview
The Deputy Director of Corporate Security (DDCS) will support and execute the corporate security strategy at the direction of the Director of Corporate Security. The DDCS will be responsible for developing and implementing security standards and managing nationwide security projects. As part of the security team, the DDCS will be required to perform internal and external investigations, execute security project installations and develop nationwide security guidelines and procedures. The DDSC will be required to assist regional security directors in all areas of security to provide advice, direction, support and direct assistance at the regional location.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and implement nationwide security guidelines.
- Develop and implement nationwide best practice security procedures.
- Perform physical security assessments and inspections.
- Conduct internal and external investigations.
- Develop and implement technical security solutions for facilities.
- Respond to crisis’ and high duress events to mitigate, aid, and assist in recovery.
- Implement security and emergency response techniques.
- Manage security vendors.
- Provide written and oral presentations with respect to corporate security.
Additional Primary Responsibilities
- Interact with other company divisions, such as Legal, HR and IT, to develop security solutions.
- Develop security education programs to raise employee awareness and reduce risk.
- Foster liaison with state and federal law enforcement and emergency response agencies.
- Lead security project teams.
- Administer the receipt and dissemination of intelligence to protect company employees, property and company reputation.
- Assist regional security directors regarding security, technology and emergency response.
