As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner for Travero, you’ll be at the center of shaping workforce strategies that drive performance, agility, and growth. From talent optimization and organizational design to workforce planning and performance systems, you’ll influence key decisions and deliver solutions that balance business priorities with people-focused outcomes.


What you will do

  • Consults with and influences leadership on a broad range of HR matters, including performance management; talent development; goal setting; succession planning; conflict resolution; total compensation; employee and labor relations; talent acquisition; learning and development; workforce planning and development; and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

  • Designs and implements new approaches, policies, and procedures to influence continuous improvement in business objectives, productivity, and development within Alliant Energy and human resources.

  • Optimizes relationships and uses critical thinking to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business unit and company goals and strategies by proactively consulting with customers.

  • Understands the entire talent system and each stage of the employee lifecycle and applies that understanding to integrated solutions that are thoughtful and support talent programs.

  • Supports recruitment efforts to focus on attracting, hiring and retaining top talent and building a solid pipeline for future needs.

  • Partners with other HR areas to provide input on guidance for compensation administration, including job description and job family development, salary recommendations, and annual merit and performance pay processes.

  • Participates in labor relations-specific activities such as labor contract negotiations, grievance resolution, and arbitrations (for areas that have labor contracts).

  • Leads the investigation process for compliance and ethics complaints, discrimination complaints, and employee misconduct.

  • Engages in other duties as needed that support Alliant Energy’s Values and helps deliver on our Purpose to serve customers and build stronger communities.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Emphasis in human resources, business management, or related area Preferred


Required Experience

  • 7 years of experience in human resources consulting, labor relations, or other generalist role.

  • Experience developing and gaining customer engagement in strategic HR solutions in support of organizational goals.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range:

$83,000-$114,000
