Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking an experienced full time Registered Nurse Unit Supervisor.

Sign-on bonuses available from $10K-$20K and Relocation bonuses also available!

Inova Alexandria Hospital is a beautiful Community Hospital located in the city of Alexandria. Our OR is equipped with 11 OR suites and 4 Endoscopy Suites. Comprehensive range of surgical specialties to include, orthopedics-total joints, sports medicine, spine, general ENT, gynecology, urology, plastics, vascular, neurosurgery, robotics, podiatry, and maxillofacial. Full range of Endoscopy services including Heartburn Treatment.

Requirements: 

  • One year of Operating Room nursing experience is required.
  • Two years or more of direct OR Registered Nurse Supervisory experience is highly desired.
  • Degree from an accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred.
  • RN License to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider certification is required from AHA.
  • CNOR preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibits leadership ability that fosters teamwork and retention.
  • Demonstrates professionalism and ability to remain calm and lead in dynamic and busy situations.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office and healthcare software required.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and prioritization.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to other clinical staff on the unit.
