Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Marketing plays a key role in shaping and sharing the story of Pinehurst Resort — a place where the legacy of golf meets Southern hospitality and timeless luxury. This position leads strategic marketing initiatives designed to strengthen Pinehurst’s brand presence, drive resort revenue, and inspire guests to experience all that “The Cradle of American Golf” has to offer.
The ideal candidate brings a sophisticated understanding of hospitality marketing, deep digital expertise, and a genuine passion for the game of golf and its traditions.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Brand Presence
• Develop and implement an integrated digital marketing strategy that enhances brand awareness, drives bookings, and supports efforts in Golf Operations, Food & Beverage, Spa and Recruitment.
• Manage campaigns across paid, owned, and earned media—including paid search, display, social, video, and email marketing.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all platforms.
• Leverage digital platforms to tell the story of the resort’s legacy, amenities, and guest experience in a compelling and contemporary way.

Website & Content Experience
• Oversee website performance, ensuring it serves as a best-in-class digital extension of the resort experience.
• Work with agency partners to drive SEO, UX, and conversion optimization to support revenue and engagement goals.
• Partner with content and creative teams to develop photography, video, and storytelling assets that showcase the property, golf, and lifestyle offerings.

Performance Analytics & Reporting
• Define and track KPIs for all digital initiatives, including engagement, conversion, and ROI metrics.
• Translate performance data into actionable insights that guide ongoing optimization and strategic planning.

Guest Engagement & Loyalty
• Leverage CRM systems and guest data to design personalized campaigns that deepen engagement, loyalty, and repeat visitation.
• Collaborate with Sales team to craft tailored communication strategies for distinct audiences—from leisure guests to avid golfers and corporate groups.

Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Manage a small in-house team and agency partners to ensure timely, high-quality execution of marketing campaigns.
• Serve as project manager for the marketing team, coordinating priorities, timelines, and deliverables across departments and agency partners.
• Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellence that reflects Pinehurst’s brand values and service ethos.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field
• 7–10 years of progressive marketing experience, ideally in luxury hospitality, golf, or resort environments.
• Proven ability to lead integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.
• Expertise in digital platforms, analytics tools, CRM, and brand storytelling.
• Familiarity with Wordpress, Squarespace, Revinate CRM and Agilysis systems.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills, with a refined aesthetic and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities with a collaborative mindset.
• Genuine passion for golf, hospitality, and the Pinehurst experience.
