<p align="center"><u>RTA SENIOR ANALYST IBERIA</u></p> <p align="center"><u>(Record to accounting) </u></p> <p>Location: </p> <p>Madrid / Barcelona</p> <p> </p> <p>Department/Area: </p> <p>Finance</p> <p> </p> <p>Mission:</p> <p>The role of RTA Senior Analyst is to support the CCF Finance Organization in executing accounting, audit &amp; internal controls activities, and tax &amp; statutory requirements, including the month end close, and other GL activities, in order to comply with group and local needs and regulations.</p> <p> </p> <p>The Job You Will Perform: </p> <ul> <li>Perform and ensure that transactions and activities, including all tax accounting activities, are recorded/completed in compliance with local statutory and tax as well as US GAAP and other requirements and policies</li> <li>Cooperate with internal and external counterparties on a regular basis, ensuring accurate responses to any queries e.g. audit, PTP, OTC, Business Finance, external consultants</li> <li>Facilitate and perform end-to-end monthly closing activities, review, local reconciliation and reporting processes</li> <li>Perform work assignments with limited supervision, within the required timeline and ensuring adequate accuracy in line with internal and external standard and policies</li> <li>In collaboration with SSC PTP Team, supporting procure-to-pay activities including Travel Expenses, coding and DoA related to NOPO expenses</li> <li>Complete various reporting requirements and administrative activities  </li> <li>Assist and support the RTA organization in EMEA (CCF, SSC)  by providing routine and ad hoc analytical support</li> <li>Assist in creating and optimizing standardized processes for the FGO strategy </li> <li>Involve in various projects in relations with the scope of the role and lead some of them</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Be a safety advocate </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Adopt and foster the our IP values: safety, ethics, stewardship, think the customer, include &amp; engage, and the IP Way Forward in all interactions with stakeholders</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>The Skills You Will Bring: </p> <ul> <li>Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics or related educational background</li> <li>Minimum 3 years of experience in finance</li> <li>Solid knowledge of accounting and SOXs controls environment</li> <li>Proven experience with local statutory and tax requirements and US GAAP </li> <li>Previous experience in international company </li> <li>Knowledge of SAP</li> <li>MS Excel and other MS Office applications</li> <li>Attention to details</li> <li>Very good English and excellent local language</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>The Opportunities You Will Enjoy:</p> <ul> <li>A multinational/multicultural work environment </li> <li>Possibility to work on regional/cross-country projects </li> <li>Tailored development and career plan </li> <li>Continuous learning and training according to our 70-20-10 philosophy </li> <li>Career growth </li> </ul> <p>International Paper se compromete a no discriminar a ningún/a solicitante de empleo ni a ningún/a empleado/a durante el proceso de contratación ni durante su empleo en la empresa por motivos de origen étnico, religión, género, orientación sexual, identidad o expresión de género, estado civil, discapacidad, origen nacional, ni por cualquier otra clasificación protegida por Ley.</p> <p> </p>
