Introduction to the Yiddish language, including its grammar, lexicon, and cultural contexts. Overview of Yiddish culture past and present through works of literature, theatre, film, music and folklore.

Requirements:

Maîtrise en Yiddish ou l'équivalent. Lusophone ou compétence linguistique presque native du yiddish. Expérience dans l'enseignement du yiddish niveaux débutants au milieu universitaire. Expérience dans la création et la gestion des contenus virtuels, et des applications reliées à l’enseignement virtuel. Expérience avec Brightspace. Bilingue (français et anglais). / M.A. in Yiddish or equivalent. Yiddish-speaking or near-native linguistic competence in Yiddish. Experience in teaching Yiddish beginner levels at university. Experience in creating and managing virtual content, as well as applications related to virtual teaching. Experience with Brightspace. Bilingual (French and English).
