Description

At Vanco, we serve those who enrich our communities. Our solutions make payment processing simple while easing administrative burdens for faith-based groups, nonprofit organizations, and schools.

We are looking for an experienced technical product manager to drive the development and success of Vanco education and overall integration strategy.

As the technical product manager, you will be responsible for developing strategy and alignment, building relationships both internally and externally, continuous product discovery, and execution that ensures we deliver value for our customers and strong outcomes for the business. Vanco offers vertically integrated Payment Facilitation both standalone and through our market vertical solutions in education and faith. Vanco has been undergoing a transformation to consolidate and improve our footprint and industrialize our integration paths with partners. 

This role is a pivotal driver of that vision by managing not only our market front door to education, but also the larger integration framework and supported options. As such, we are looking for a technical product manager that understands both integrating outside solutions into a product family as well as integrating that product family into other partners. Ideally, the candidate for this role has experience evaluating both building solutions as well as leveraging third party integration tools.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with a cross-functional team to set quarterly objectives that move product and business strategy forward.
  • Aggregate data about the customer from all departments to build a holist view of payers, partners, and internal stakeholders, to represent the voice of the customer.
  • Create epics, feature stories and work with technology team to refine and manage development using tools like AHA!, Jira, Lucid Charts and Confluence.
  • Use iteration and experimentation to validate assumptions and gain confidence in solutions.
  • Be recognized as the expert on the product, the market, and the competition.
  • Build hypotheses, measure results, learn and adjust.
  • Evangelize the project internally and externally.


Who you are:

  • You have experience with enterprise-level implementations with varied technical and business stakeholders.
  • You are an experienced Product Manager who focuses on outcomes that deliver customer value and business results.
  • You have experience owning roadmaps driven by data and market intelligence.
  • You are customer-centric, passionate about product discovery and understanding the opportunity before jumping into solutions.
  • You have proven your ability to innovate, and develop tactical execution plans to drive success.
  • You have a background in integrated eCommerce or fintech. 
  • You are comfortable analyzing performance, research, financials, and competitive data to drive strategic and tactical recommendations.
  • You demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication.
  • You have a high ability to navigate and collaborate with co-workers at all levels of the company.
