The Work You Will Do:

Senior Financial Services Accountant / District Four / Transportation Support Office / Financial Services

 

This position will audit and process a wide range of financial transactions, including electronic contract invoices, purchasing card charges, travel reimbursements, and Right of Way payments to ensure mathematical accuracy and compliance with Florida Statutes, Administrative Code, and departmental policies. You support project managers and vendors by resolving invoice discrepancies, providing training on proper procedures, and communicating findings clearly. You also reconcile contracts for close-out, maintain detailed payment records, and prepare necessary accounting adjustments.
