TITLE: OPS Maintenance Technician
HIRING SALARY: $15.00 per hour
HOURS: 20 hours a week, hours may vary

MAJOR FUNCTION: Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing maintenance and preventative maintenance on buildings and equipment including electrical, plumbing, sheetrock, masonry and related components. Operates, maintains, and repairs HVAC systems and components including building automation systems. Operates and maintains vehicles including tractors, fork lifts, boom lifts, loaders, large trucks, and motorized carts. Maintains small equipment used in the maintenance area.
MINIMUM TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: Experience in at least three of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, electronics, carpentry/masonry, AutoCAD or equivalent Computer Aided Drafting / Drawing Program. High School or GED is preferred.
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING: Ability to work safely and proficiently in the areas of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and electronics. Ability to follow written and oral instructions as directed. Ability to work independently and make independent judgments. Ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, stand for long periods of time, work outdoors in all types of weather and temperatures. Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds or more. Ability to drive, maintain, and repair vehicles, tractors, trucks, and equipment. Ability to use a two-way communication radio. Ability to serve in an on-call status on a rotating basis.
