POSITION SUMMARY 

Responsible for the plant’s customer service and container management.  Provides leadership and creates collaboration among the plant’s cross functional groups. 

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for direct contact with multiple customers to manage daily schedules and requirements
• Gains an in depth understanding of SAP sales and distribution module
• Maintains necessary data and communication in customer systems and portals
• Establishes collaboration among the functional groups including, but not limited to, supplier scheduling, production planning, operations, shipping, quality, and purchasing
• Monitors customer demand signals for accuracy and changes.  Communicates changes to the cross functional groups
• Manages on time delivery to customers and customer scorecards, researching and reporting the results.  Looks for permanent corrective actions for issues and drives for resolution
• Building and maintaining customer relationships to foster collaboration and communication
• Determine priorities to match available supply to demands to achieve established customer contract obligations and operational business goals

Safety and Health – Responsible for completing required safety training, reporting and correcting any unsafe practices as appropriate, completing work activities in a safe manner, and complying with safety and health requirements for respective position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree Preferred
• 2+ years of customer service related experience (automotive experience a plus)
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems such as SAP preferred
• Microsoft Office Proficient

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary Range $60,000 - $85,000 depending on experience
• Medical/Prescription Insurance plans including family options and no weekly premium plans
