People & Culture Generalist

We are headquartered in Seattle, but are open to remote location depending on role and if a candidate resides in a state we currently employ in.
The RoleAs a People & Culture Generalist, you will handle a broad range of responsibilities across our fast-growing organization, managing programs of employee onboarding and engagement initiatives and ensuring smooth and efficient people operations.
Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you will play an integral role in elevating Omnidian’s company culture through passionate and engaged teams and an amazing employee experience.

What You'll Do

People Operations
• Partner with leadership to shape meaningful people programs.
• Manage employee benefits, leave, and sabbatical processes.
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and HR policy updates.
• Administer performance reviews and ensure compliance.
• Prioritize confidentiality in all interactions.
Candidate and Employee Experience
• Lead trainings, including orientation, check-ins, and exits.
• Innovate talent acquisition and team engagement solutions.
• Support the hiring process and reference checks.
• Organize logistics and ensure COVID-19 safety.
• Work with local captains for company gatherings.
• Coordinate sustainable Pride shirt distribution.

Experience You’ll Need

• 2+ years of experience as a HR Coordinator, Generalist or similar role 
• Experience with scheduling or calendar management 
• Proficient with applicant tracking systems and HRIS
• Proficient with G-Suite and Excel
• Diversity, equity and inclusion training or experience

Experience That’s a Plus

• 3+ years of experience as a HR Coordinator, Generalist or similar role, owning administration for multiple functions (ex: benefits, compensation, performance management) 
• Project management experience
• Intermediate knowledge or above in Excel
• Solid understanding of federal and multi-state employment laws and compliance knowledge
• Established track record of advancing DEI work in companies or communities
